My Background 

Hello, I'm Malwina, a CBT Therapist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I provide therapeutic support and guidance to a diverse range of clients across the UK and beyond.

 

I believe that what we need most is not simply advice or solutions, but a genuine connection—a safe space where we can be vulnerable and explore the changes we wish to make. My approach as a mental health practitioner is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a deep commitment to truly understanding the unique struggles of each person who walks through my door. I aim to empower individuals by guiding them toward their own insights, helping them uncover their strengths and resilience. This work is not just a profession for me; it is a calling that fills my heart with purpose and gratitude. I am honoured to make a positive difference in the lives of those I serve and to witness the incredible strength of the human spirit.

As a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I am dedicated to providing a safe and confidential space for clients to explore and address a wide range of emotional, psychological, and behavioural challenges. With extensive ongoing training and a deep commitment to helping others, I offer personalized support and evidence-based interventions to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Being of Polish heritage and living in the UK, I am especially attuned to the challenges faced by clients from diverse backgrounds and those navigating immigration  obstacles. I incorporate an understanding of individual values, adaptation struggles, and cultural awareness into my practice, ensuring that essential mental health support is accessible to all who need it.

I offer online CBT therapy in both English and Polish, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their own homes, whether they are in the UK, working away, or living overseas.

I adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality, ensuring that clients' trust and privacy are always upheld. To maintain the quality of my practice, I participate in monthly supervision.

Who I Help

I have a deep understanding of and compassion for the struggles and pain experienced by clients which allows me to provide unwavering support throughout your journey. I have an extensive expertise working with anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, personality disorders, low self-esteem, bereavement, trauma, ADHD, stress, and relationship issues.

How I Do It

I work collaboratively with clients to assess their unique concerns, develop treatment plans to identify and modify thought patterns or behaviours that contribute to distress. My aim is to promote universal strategies of coping for a lasting positive change and resilience during therapeutic process and in the future. I introduce my clients to essential CBT tools, practical strategies and psychoeducation to build better self- awareness, self-empowerment and facilitate personal growth. In my practice, I implement relaxation, mindfulness, visualisation, behavioural experiments, creativity and homework assignments.
